Join a Task Force

The Public Affairs Council has very few committees. In order to make efficient use of members' time, each year our Chairman appoints several task forces that generally meet once in Washington, D.C., and then conduct other business through conference calls or email exchanges. Each task force has a clearly defined mission and is led by a member of our Executive Committee.

All public affairs executives at member organizations are eligible to serve on task forces. These informal groups provide important guidance for our educational programs and public outreach efforts. In addition, they provide a rare opportunity for you to meet and share ideas with top public affairs professionals from other industry sectors.

The 2007-2008 task forces are:

  • Communications
  • Congressional Outreach
  • Ethics
  • International Public Affairs
  • Senior Public Affairs Executives
