The
Public Affairs News Monitor is a twice-monthly electronic news service that summarizes major media coverage about the public affairs field. Because our summaries present all the highlights of a news story, members can learn about trends in politics, government relations, communications, corporate citizenship and related areas without having to link to the original article.
How to Use the Monitor
Many Council members rely on the
Public Affairs News Monitor to help them through the endless pile of newspapers, magazines and newsletters in their inboxes. Instead of spending hours reading various publications to find out if they are relevant, members can scan the Monitor's summaries to find out what's really important.
The Monitor may be reproduced in hard copy form or electronically for internal circulation to Public Affairs Council member companies and associations. As a result, some Council members have discovered creative ways to make use of this valuable news service, including:
- News text for government relations intranet sites
- Internal email news briefing services
- Material for PAC newsletters
