Writer/Creative Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION 

720 Strategies seeks a writer/creative manager to join its team. You will work in partnership with an art director to conceive, develop and produce effective advocacy campaigns for a wide range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies and trade associations.

The writer/creative manager will develop messaging for client campaigns, including writing the text of:

  • posters
  • brochures
  • radio or television scripts
  • proposals
  • marketing materials
  • web/digital

The selected candidate will manage print and audiovisual production, including coordination with production companies, printers, and designers, reporting to the VP of Creative Services. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meeting the account management team to discuss client requirements and product background
  • Brainstorming ideas and concepts
  • Working in a close-knit creative partnership with the VP of Creative Services to generate workable concepts and ideas
  • Writing clear, persuasive, original copy
  • Submitting ideas and discussing progress with the creative director before making presentations to clients
  • Amending, revising or redeveloping campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director or clients; working on multiple campaigns at once, with tight deadlines
  • Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar
  • Overseeing campaigns through the production stage to completion
  • Liaising with production companies, photographers, typographers, designers and printers; and
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and new media opportunities
