JOB DESCRIPTION
720 Strategies seeks a writer/creative manager to join its team. You will work in partnership with an art director to conceive, develop and produce effective advocacy campaigns for a wide range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies and trade associations.
The writer/creative manager will develop messaging for client campaigns, including writing the text of:
- posters
- brochures
- radio or television scripts
- proposals
- marketing materials
- web/digital
The selected candidate will manage print and audiovisual production, including coordination with production companies, printers, and designers, reporting to the VP of Creative Services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meeting the account management team to discuss client requirements and product background
- Brainstorming ideas and concepts
- Working in a close-knit creative partnership with the VP of Creative Services to generate workable concepts and ideas
- Writing clear, persuasive, original copy
- Submitting ideas and discussing progress with the creative director before making presentations to clients
- Amending, revising or redeveloping campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director or clients; working on multiple campaigns at once, with tight deadlines
- Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar
- Overseeing campaigns through the production stage to completion
- Liaising with production companies, photographers, typographers, designers and printers; and
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and new media opportunities
