Strategic Planner

This is an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Planner who has vast experience in Public Policy and administration. You will be the lead for commissioned feasibility studies, technical lead for strategic management and strategy development.

The Role

  • Lead and conduct strategic planning and budget planning.
  • Facilitate strategic plan development.
  • Track, monitor, analyse and report measures and performance planning.
  • Establish and maintain a network of professionals to assist and leverage for studies and program planning.
  • Guide and coordinate strategic planning process of external bodies.
  • Participate in preparation of quarterly performance report and presentation.
  • Assist department head with developing performance measures.

The Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Public Policy, Public Administration or MBA.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience with at least 3 years in senior level or management position.
  • Ability to multi-task across projects and studies.
  • Knowledge of analytical tools, methods and approaches.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with various senior management and officials across Qatar Government ministries.
  • Knowledge of or experience of working in the Middle East is a bonus.
