Sr. Manager Environmental Policy and Sustainability

The Consumer Electronics Association in Arlington, VA seeks a Sr. Manager of Environmental Policy and Sustainability to lobby and provide support to staff on environmental energy policy issues affecting the CE industry.  Responsibilities include: advocate CEA position on environmental issues on legislative and regulatory matters at the state and support advocacy efforts at the federal level; maintain state legislative tracking database; provide support for CEA environmental programs, including support for events; attend and report on hearings and policy briefings and represent association at hearings and events, including political fundraisers and industry meetings; act as liaison to CEA Government Affairs Council Environmental Policy Committee (EPC); and write and produce the EPC e-mail updates to CEA's EPC and coordinate conference calls, meetings, meeting minutes, notices and agendas.  

This position requires at least 4-6 years related experience working on legislative or regulatory issues and/or technology industry experience, plus a bachelor's degree in Political Science or related field.  Position also requires excellent oral and written communication skills, and working knowledge of the political process, environmental law and policy.  Join us as we continue to build one of the best organizations in the technology industry!
