Leading health care provider group has an immediate opening for a regulatory policy and health care quality specialist to assist with Federal agency outreach and advocating our position in national quality improvement programs and regulations. Duties include identifying, developing and maintaining partnerships/relationships with national quality improvement organizations, associations and government agencies; analyzing and monitoring Federal regulatory initiatives; preparing reports and delivering oral and written communication to Federal agencies along with reports and summaries for the association's membership; and representing the association at key quality improvement and regulatory meetings/hearings. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and at least two years' experience in health care policy or quality of care programs. Candidates will have strong written, oral and interpersonal skills, be well organized; detail and deadline oriented and must be able to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously. Candidates must also have a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate association positions, information and concerns.
