| Responsibilities: |
|
The SVP in D.C plays a critical role in determining the future and long-term success of MWW Group.
- The SVP focuses largely on business development and a wider scope of responsibilities in terms of managing account profitability and staff.
- The SVP is responsible for managing senior level client relationships and have regular exposure to client senior management.
- H/She are responsible for playing a key role in the management of their respective office while providing overall staff leadership, sound strategic counsel and direction to current clients.
- The SVP is responsible for managing and directing client activities
- The SVP is responsible for drafting written materials, including presentations, press kits, public affairs campaigns, releases and pitch letters;
- The SVP is responsible for a variety Public Affairs/Government Affairsand client-focused marketing activities

| Qualifications: |
|
You are the perfect candidate if you have the following qualifications:
- Have been a top/senior person in a previous agency or organization based in Washington D.C. while focusing on Public Affairs and/or Government Affairs
- Excellent client management skills
- A proven track record of creating and implementing strategic and creative Public Affairs and government affairs programs
- A great understanding and background in Public Affairs, Government Affairs, government contracts, public education issues/client, public safety issues/clients, community relations issues/client, government and/or trade association issues/clients, and/or government regulating agency client experience.
- Strategic writing skills
- An ability to write/sell public affairs campaigns
- The ability and experience of working with lobbyists
- A strong D.C network
- A great understanding for media relations
- Experience in sourcing and securing new business is a plus.
