Senior Vice President / Executive Vice President

REPORTS TO: President & CEO

The Position:

The Senior Vice President (SVP)/Executive Vice President (EVP) is the chief strategy officer for current clients and drives agency client service. To this end, the SVP/EVP is charged with further development of Revive Public Relation’s nationwide health services group, and expansion of the agency footprint in Healthy Living. The SVP/EVP will continue to build and shape Revive’s reputation in the health care industry. The position will be critical in ensuring that the group has the right leadership to build and mentor a team, grow revenue, and deliver quality services and results on time and on budget.

THE ESSENTIALS

Education:

Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or related field is required, an advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

PR/Communications Experience. 12 years or more experience in strategic client counsel and team leadership/management, in public relations, issues/crisis management, investor relations, and/or media relations engagements. PR Agency experience required.

Sector Experience. The ideal experience is in the provider world: hospitals and health systems; physician organizations and specialty providers, Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) and Long-term Acute Care facilities (LTACs); health care IT companies; disease management organizations; Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs); and other health care organizations.

Client Service: Proven track record in organic client growth/retention; excellent client service skills and demonstrated experience in managing client relationships and developing and executing integrated communication and public relations strategies and programs.

Team/Agency Management: Strong managerial skills and the ability to develop a team by recruiting, retaining and promoting talent; a positive, constructive attitude in meeting challenges and problems; an ambitious, motivated self-starter, and genuine team player. Thorough knowledge of agency business practices.
