Altria Client Services, Inc. has an opening for a senior legal analyst in its Washington, D.C. office.  The position will provide professional assistance and support on political law compliance, including the preparation and review of various internal documents and public filings pertaining to political contributions, gifts to government officials, lobbying activities, and charitable contributions.  This position also will provide support on legislative matters relating to the Government Affairs Department's activities.  This position reports to the Assistant General Counsel and requires interaction with outside counsel and government affairs consultants.  The ideal candidate will have a college degree, legal background, and familiarity with political compliance.  Legislative experience is also highly desirable.  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.  Minimum 4 years experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, federal or state government agency or related area.  We offer competitive compensation, an extensive benefits package, and a dynamic work environment.
