Senior Associate, Public Affairs Practice
Burson-Marsteller seeks a seasoned public relations professional to join our Public Affairs Practice in our Pittsburgh Office. The person will be a day-to-day client contact for a high profile client, manage diverse internal teams, drive project deliverables, achieve deadlines and deliver outstanding results. Labor and transportation issues experience is ideal.
This person should possess strong writing and client counseling skills. Media relations capability is a plus. Candidates should be experienced strategists, strong writers, team leaders and self-starters. Skills and background should include directing communications campaigns to key internal and external audiences. Must have 4-8 years public affairs/communications experience. BA/BS degree required. Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day client projects to ensure the quality of work meets client's objective and provide value.
-Develop and cultivate relationship with the client and external audiences.
-Recommend and implement initiatives that improve the perception of the client with key internal and external audiences.
-Maintain clear and consistent communication between the client and Burson-Marsteller.
-Develop complete communication plans for the client.
-Participate in new business development and support organizational initiatives.
