The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), America’s pro-Israel lobby, is seeking a dynamic and articulate individual with political/campaign experience to fill a Regional Political Director (RPD) position in its New York location. The Regional Political Director is responsible for overseeing and implementing the political operations and activities in their region.
Specific responsibilities include: Increasing pro-Israel political participation; Fostering relationships between AIPAC citizen activists and members of Congress; Meeting with candidates running for the U.S. House and Senate; Providing advocacy training to AIPAC citizen activists; Traveling regionally to speak on Middle East issues/politics/pro-Israel advocacy.
A minimum of 5 years political and/or legislative experience required; Passion for the U.S. – Israel relationship a must. Knowledge of Middle East regional politics a plus. Excellent benefits. Salary commensurate with experience.
