Our client is a respected multinational financial services institution with offices in twelve countries around the region. A tremendous opportunity exists for an experienced communications professional to join the organisation in the role of Regional Head of Communications.
Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will devise and implement a regional awareness campaign to strengthen the brand and sustain growth. With responsibilities to develop and implement a brand and communication strategy and standardise practices company-wide, you will develop key messages for all stakeholders to communicate the brand identity.
This will include leading agencies and internal team members to execute all communication and public relations activities from marketing materials, advertising, client communications, direct mail, marketing campaigns, press releases to content for trade publications, etc.
Additionally you will oversee the writing of press releases, copy for marketing materials, annual reports and advertisements while managing media relations and researching editorial opportunities and building relationships with key media.
Key to this role will be the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external parties to ensure proper messaging of the company values, philosophy and products/services.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
+University degree with a minimum of ten years in a communications leadership role
+Experience leading, training and developing a communications team within the region
+Thorough understanding of traditional and digital branding principles and tactics+Proven ability to design, develop and implement strategic and tactical programs
+Superior written and verbal communications skills and highly developed interpersonal skills
