Due to our continued growth and success, we have a new position open for a Public Relations Specialist.?

Summary: Plan, coordinate and execute all public relations efforts with public relations firm in alignment with PR program goals.?

Responsibilities:

• Establish/?maintain relationships with key media contacts in the security and retail industries.? Keep media database up-to-date.? Interview partners and end-users for newsworthy installations.? Write and distribute press releases and case studies.?
• Work with product marketing to localize product releases
• Pitch stories from press releases, case studies and other successful installations and partnerships to security and retail media.?
• Coordinate development of abstract for industry for speaking opportunities
• Act as liaison between Axis and external PR agency for all PR activities in IT press, high-end media, and other targeted industry segments
• Manage availability for speaking engagements and press meetings with General Manager & other key spokespersons
• Organize logistics for PR events including press, speakers, and materials
• Research online and print coverage of Axis Communications
• Assemble ongoing binders of press clippings
• Conduct weekly status meetings with PR agency
