The main functions of our Account Manager position include:

• Managing two or more client accounts providing complete public relations and editorial counsel and support on a day-to-day basis.? Acting as primary account contact.?
• Directing media relations, writing or editing news releases, articles, speeches and presentations.?
• Managing tours, product launches; product reviews programs, editorial calendars and interviews.?
• Managing account team members, both directly or indirectly, providing training, guidance and supervision.?
• Working closely with account vice president to develop clients' public relations strategy and plans.?
• Responsibility for budget development and managing client and team activities to approved budget levels.?
• Participating in new business including prospecting and the development of pitches, presentations and proposals.?

We look for six to ten years of previous high-tech, life science or clean energy public relations management experience.? Strong track record of business press and broad media results for clients.? Excellent development of client relationships, proven supervisory skills and ability to write strategic messaging materials.?
