WorldatWork, the premier non-partisan HR association devoted to employee pay and rewards, is adding an additional public policy professional to join its Washington, D.C. Office, located near McPherson Square Metro Station.
The successful candidate will provide general program support for the entire Public Policy team as well as perform independent public policy work in order to educate U.S. public policy-makers and the press about pay, benefits, work-life and other rewards practices that engage employees and deliver business results. The position will be an integral part of the Public Policy Department and will include: attending and reporting on U.S. government meetings (Congressional and agency), conducting legislative and regulatory research, assisting in advocacy document preparation and overall coordination of the public policy team's activities with regard to outreach to Congress and the federal agencies. The position reports to the Director, Public Policy.
A bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) is required. Additional position requirements include a working knowledge of U.S. legislative and regulatory processes.
