Public Affairs Specialist - News Media Relations

Education Minnesota, the state's educator union, is seeking an experienced news media strategist to serve as press secretary to the organization and its leadership. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated ability to translate organizational goals into news media campaigns that influence public opinion. This senior level position also requires successful experience providing communications counsel to top-level officers and staff. Experience in speech-writing and special events is also highly desirable. A minimum of five years experience is required which may also include years spent as a journalist.
