National health care association located in Alexandria, VA is seeking a qualified professional who will be responsible for all aspects of the association's Federal grassroots advocacy program.  The candidate will also assist with the association's lobbying, political fundraising events and other advocacy activities, including managing database of members and online advocacy alert software.

The successful candidate will have extensive campaign and/or legislative experience and must posses a working knowledge of health care policy.  Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate association positions, information and concerns. Candidates must possess strong written, oral and interpersonal skills, be well organized; detail and deadline oriented and must be able to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously.  Candidate will represent association at selected regional and national meetings.  College degree with Political Science degree a plus.
