This position reports to the Manager of Raytheon's Political Action Committee (PAC), and is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the PAC and corporate political contributions within Raytheon's Government Relations organization in Arlington, Virginia.

The major responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage the administration of the PAC to ensure sound financial management and compliance with applicable federal, state and local election laws.
- Manage disbursement of all PAC contributions in conjunction with the PAC Manager and the Vice President, Government Relations.
- Manage and perform financial transactions, including recording and verifying contributions and distributing funds to campaign committees.
- Maintain PAC database and administer membership programs.
- Prepare and maintain annual budget for PAC disbursements and activities.
- Produce internal PAC reports and analyses.
- Assist in the planning of meetings and events for the PAC, such as fundraisers, political receptions, and education events.
- Assist in lobbying reporting compliance as needed.
- Represent the PAC as needed.
- Related Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in government relations, political fundraising, or political campaigns.
- Team player who is a self-starter passionate about his/her work and innovative in solving problems, overcoming challenges, and achieving goals.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment, with exceptional attention to detail and timing
- Understanding of political and legislative processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a confidence and comfort interacting directly with corporate executives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with exceptional research, data collection, and analytical skills.
- Experience managing multiple demands and constituents, and staying organized in a complex business environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and in database management.
- Related Master's Degree.
- Experience working in a Political Action Committee
- Understanding of and ability to apply local, state and federal requirements for political activity disclosure and reporting.
- Working knowledge of computer databases (VOCUS), spreadsheets (Excel), PowerPoint, and html.
- Working knowledge of FEC laws and filing requirements.
