Must have superb ability to work with clients, congressional staff and colleagues. Three years of Hill or government experience is helpful, or six years experience in private sector public policy advocacy. Knowledge of telecom, tax, energy and/or health care a plus. Excellent writing and research skills required. Responsibilities will include strategic thinking; contacts with Capitol Hill; research and writing of advocacy papers, issue briefs and letters; monitoring and reporting on legislative developments. |
