Responsibilities include processing PAC receipts and disbursements, managing fundraising resources and PAC budgets for federal and state giving activities, and developing and maintaining the PAC's website, promotional materials, and donor incentive programs. Additionally, responsibilities include drafting and preparing donor reports and communications, including presentations for the Board of Directors, thank you notes, solicitations, promotional communications, and a quarterly newsletter to PAC members.
The position involves serving as the primary liaison to PAC members and potential members and fundraising and compliance vendors. Responsibilities also include staying current with changing federal and state campaign finance regulations and filing deadlines. The position will attend political fundraisers, health care coalition meetings and other events as necessary. The PAC Manager will assist the Government Affairs Team in planning and executing PAC fundraising events in D.C. and in the States as necessary. The position will also perform other duties as assigned.
This position requires a highly motivated team player with the ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills. Pro-active and highly organized. Strong proficiency in writing and communication skills required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and 4 years fundraising experience with increased responsibilities (political experience preferred)
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior knowledge of federal election campaign laws
- Prior experience with Vocus database and CapWiz software a plus
