PNC has a newly created opening for an experienced PAC
Director to join our team. The responsibilities of this role will
include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day management and operations of PNC's political action committees (PACs), including the financial management-the recording and collection of receipts and disbursements, compliance with applicable federal, state and local election laws, and reporting to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and other applicable agencies.
- Coordinating the development and implementation of a corporate PAC strategy in conjunction with senior leadership of the corporation, PAC Steering Committee members, and the Government Affairs team.
- Partnering with the Government Affairs team to develop PAC budgets and solicitation plans and materials.
- Drafting and executing PAC-related communications, including solicitation materials, website content, social media, newsletters, annual reports, invitations, presentations, talking points and other materials.
- Managing the development and implementation of a political involvement program for executives and employees based on best practices in the financial services industry, corporations and trade associations.
- Developing and managing civic volunteer opportunities that allow PNC employees to work within their communities, such as voter registration initiatives and get-out-the-vote drives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years administrative and management experience with corporate PACs, including skills and experience in financial management.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the political and legislative processes, as well as good political instincts and acumen.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong project planning skills.
- Ability to build awareness and excitement in the political process.
- Experience in developing business strategies and managing their implementation.
- Undergraduate degree (BA or BS) with emphasis in communications and public policy.
