Medco's Public Policy and External Affairs Office seeks to fill a full-time position for a Political Action Committee (PAC) Administrator in its Washington, DC office. This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Medco's PAC and coordination of events as directed by the Manager, Public Policy and External Affairs. This position will provide support as needed and directed by the Manager, Public Policy and External Affairs towards the legislative and policy goals of Medco. Duties include but are not limited to:
PAC Administration • Implementing PAC solicitation strategy and drafting correspondence • Execute PAC administrative functions, including payroll and human resources processes • Processing PAC receipts and disbursements, including: recording and verifying contributions, and: preparing and submitting disbursement requests for campaign committees • Maintaining annual budget for Medco PAC Federal contributions • Maintain tracking system for Federal fundraising events • Assist in the preparation of reporting obligations to ensure compliance with applicable Federal election laws • Producing internal Medco PAC reports and analyses • Updating and maintaining the Medco PAC website information • Planning and preparing for Medco PAC board meetings • Coordinating fundraising events for the Medco PAC
Event Administration • Coordinate educational events and tours of Medco personalized care centers and pharmacies for Members of Congress, clients, and consultants • Coordinate government relations activities and events • Assume other responsibilities as requested in support of the office goals and objectives Qualifications: Qualifications:
- Strong project coordination experience a must Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask independently and demonstrate sound judgment Strong attention to detail and timing as well as excellence in execution Proven organizational, research, and analytical skills Ability to work and contribute in a highly collaborative, team environment Working knowledge of computer databases, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint Understanding of and ability to apply federal requirements for political activity disclosure and reporting Understanding of political and legislative processes BA/BS degree with background in communication and/or political science or equivalent work-related experience. Minimum of 3-5 years work-related experience as a project administrator in a corporate government relations environment or a blend of political action committee, political fundraising, and campaign management experience
