Medical Providers Coalition Convener

HIVMA is seeking an Advocacy Coalition Convener to work 20 to 25 hours a week managing advocacy and grassroots activities for a national coalition of medical
providers. The convener will develop and implement a strategic plan for HIV medical provider engagement and coalition advocacy activities. The individual will staff the steering committee, develop policy communications and advocacy materials; lead
efforts on Capitol Hill and with federal agency staff; establish a vibrant grassroots network, and represent the Coalition with other stakeholders.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree with at least three to five years in lobbying or advocacy experience, preferably in health care. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and to oversee the development
of a coalition in a growing phase. Experience with grassroots organizing and conducting outreach preferably within the medical provider community.
