Position Summary:
The Managing Director assists The Advocacy Group (TAG) Board of Directors in developing TAG's mission, goals and objectives and is responsible for their implementation. The Managing Director serves as Chief Executive Officer of TAG and exercises direct management of TAG's business in accordance with the policies and directions set by TAG's General Membership, its Board of Directors or the Executive of Committee of the Board. These responsibilities include membership recruitment, marketing and business development for public affairs services of TAG Member Companies. The Managing Director also provides for the financial management of TAG and for the development and execution of TAG's Annual General Meeting.
Qualifications:
The Managing Director should have strong writing and speaking skills, a baccalaureate degree, and at least 10-15 years of professional experience in government, public policy, public advocacy or association management.
