Washington lobbying firm is seeking an individual who will lead, manage and grow the Washington office for this multi-city firm. The successful applicant will have had significant experience on Capitol Hill, in a Cabinet agency, contract lobbying firm, corporate or trade association office in Washington. Masters or law degree preferred. Strong background in legislative and regulatory affairs. Excellent client relationship and staff management skills. Knowledge of, and/or involvement in, political campaigns. Bipartisan orientation. Excellent written and oral presentation skills. Marketing and business development experience. Understands public affairs in its entirety-lobbying, public relations and community relations. Most important of all is the required portability of an existing client base that will be brought to the new firm.
