Reed Elsevier Inc. has an immediate opening for a highly motivated individual to provide representation on state policy issues and provide business development support in nine Northeastern states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont). Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 5 to 7 years of state government affairs experience.   Self-motivated individual with experience in lobbying and managing state contract lobbyists is required.    Experience in supporting business development activities at the state level is preferred.  Significant travel is required. The position is based in the Northeast region.
