Leading health care provider group has an immediate opening for a regulatory policy and quality specialist to assist with Federal agency outreach and advocating our position in national quality improvement programs and regulations. Duties include identifying, developing and maintaining partnerships/relationships with national quality improvement organizations, associations and government agencies; analyzing and monitoring Federal regulatory initiatives of interest to the health care quality community; preparing reports and delivering oral and written communication to Federal agencies along with reports and summaries for the association's membership; and representing the association at key quality improvement and regulatory meetings/hearings. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and at least two years' experience in health care policy. Candidates will have strong written, oral and interpersonal skills, be well organized; detail and deadline oriented and must be able to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously. Candidates must also have a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate association positions, information and concerns.
