Manager Federal Government Affairs

Manager, Federal Government Affairs needed to advocate for member interests. Will research, analyze, monitor and report on legislative activities for full-service healthcare distributors. Will prepare federal legislative fact sheets, issue briefs and memos. Will attend committee hearings, markups and industry meetings. Some PAC involvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree required. Two to five years Hill or association experience with thorough understanding of the federal legislative process. Strong individual initiative, communication, and political judgment skills. Ability to conduct individual research and analyze complex issues. High degree of teamwork, organizational and project management skills. Understanding of healthcare and/or pharmaceutical/pharmacy issues strongly preferred.
