Grassroots Manager

Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), the nation's largest trade association representing community banks, is currently seeking a talented professional to establish and maintain a formal grassroots program. 

The Grassroots Manager will develop and disseminate action alerts and grassroots messages on federal legislative and regulatory issues, monitor Congressional action on community bank issues and recommend appropriate follow-up actions, interact with government relations staff to identify and implement various grassroots strategies, maintain contact databases, partner with bankers and state associations to share best practices, and lead or assist with political organizing campaigns and activities.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience organizing and managing grassroots campaigns, excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently as well as contribute to a team effort.
