Governmental Affairs Director

Governmental Affairs Director for the Western Forestry Leadership Coalition, a unique partnership between western State Foresters through the Council of Western State Foresters (CWSF) and their USDA Forest Service (FS) counterparts whose mission is to promote science-based forest management that serves the values of society and ensures the health and sustainability of western forests. Primary Duties are Policy Outreach and Coordination. Need bachelor's degree in natural resource management, policy or equivalent field. Five years combined experience in natural resource management and/or governmental/policy/external affairs.

This position will be located in Lakewood, Colorado, home office for WFLC. The employee may live in the Denver area and travel to D.C. for government affairs work or live in the D.C. area and travel to Denver for WFLC interaction.
