WorldatWork, the premier non-partisan HR association devoted to employee pay and rewards, is adding a new public policy professional to join its Washington, D.C. Office, located near McPherson Square Metro Station.
The successful candidate will work to educate U.S. public policy-makers and the press about pay, benefits, work-life and other rewards practices that engage employees and deliver business results. The new position is responsible for analyzing public policy issues related to total rewards, and communicating this information to the membership through a variety of media. The position reports to the Vice President, Policy and Public Affairs.
A bachelor's degree in a related field with at least five years of work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) are required for this position. An advanced degree is preferred. The position requires a strong working knowledge of U.S. legislative and regulatory processes as well as familiarity with the operations of a congressional office, association government affairs or public policy. Candidates with a working understanding of compensation and human resources issues are preferred.
