Government Relations Representative

ISE seeks the services of a dynamic individual to serve as ISE's Government Relations Representative in Washington, D.C. The representative will execute legislative strategy consistent with ISE's corporate priorities as a leading options exchange.

Services to be provided:

Provide recommendations on legislative, executive and regulatory activities important to ISE; formulate and successfully implement strategies to advance ISE's interests.

Establish and maintain relationships within the Administration and the Hill, in particular the Senate Banking and House Financial Services Committees.

Research and write issue briefs.

Advise on contribution strategy for ISE's PAC.

Experience/skills required:

7-10 years experience in government relations, preferably in the area of financial services.

Previous experience as a Congressional staffer on the Senate Banking Committee or House Financial Services Committee desirable.

Strong relationships with key political and policy contacts.

Knowledge of US financial markets regulation preferred.
