Risk Management is comprised of two groups; Ethics & Compliance and Independence Policy & Consulting.
The Ethics & Compliance Office advances and fosters integrity based decision making and conduct, and promotes and monitors compliance with all applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures. By doing so, the Ethics & Compliance Office helps the firm manage regulatory, litigation and reputational risks.
The Government Ethics & Compliance (E&C) team has responsibility for federal ethics and compliance policies and procedures, including identifying regulatory and business requirements; drafting and obtaining approval for policies; establishing and executing internal controls; and establishing procedures to promote compliance with those policies.
Knowledge Preferred:
Working knowledge in identifying and evaluating internal controls necessary to drive systemic compliance with government-related compliance policies and procedures as well as understand other Government E&C strategic priorities.
Skills Preferred:
Working expertise to establish and implement effective internal controls, including approval requirements, compliance audits and reviews, restricted approval authority, and acceptance & continuance reviews, test and evaluate internal controls then amend/improve internal controls for ongoing effectiveness. Working expertise in supporting risk mitigation plans in federal government contracting; export controls and FCPA. The candidate selected for this role will spend 75% of time with Federal Compliance, 10% with Export and International Law Compliance.
The candidate selected for this role will spend 15% of time on Continuous Improvement to identify trends and improve government-related ethics/compliance operations.
