Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota seeks a Division Chair for the Development area of the Mayo Clinic Public Affairs department.
You will provide oversight to the vision, strategy, inception and execution of Development efforts, as well as oversee daily operations and the planning and implementation of all operational and strategic plans. Your role will include recruiting and developing managers and staff who work effectively across the philanthropic cycle, encompassing Identification, Cultivation, Solicitation, Stewardship, Social Media and Education. Another key area of responsibility will be that of managing the Division's reporting mechanisms and infrastructure for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
To qualify, you must have a Master's degree in a related field and 10 years of experience managing a team of marketing and public affairs professionals, preferably in a healthcare institution. Candidates should have experience in as many of the following as possible: strategy, marketing, brand management, institutional communications, community relations, government relations, fundraising/development campaigns and international marketing. Demonstrated leadership, business, analytical and project management skills are essential.
