Position Overview:
Position Description: The Director of the Partnership will work with limited supervision from The Financial Services Roundtable (Roundtable) Communications Manager and President to deliver operational and communications services. This Partnership will work to deliver messages on the strength of the financial services industry to the public.
Duties Include
Own the Partnership relationship and be responsible for planning, coordinating and administering all business activity among Roundtable leadership, Partnership board members and leadership, vendors and consultants through on-site visits, written and telephonic communications.
Advise and consult with Roundtable leadership, Partnership board members and leadership, vendors and consultants on ways to enhance the value of Partnership program elements.
Be aware of the status of all projects being implemented or installed and act as a liaison between the Partnership and Roundtable leadership, Partnership board members and leadership, vendors and consultants on all administrative matters.
Lead the Partnership’s social network and blogger engagement program in association with Partnership members.
Manage vendors in building the Partnership web site, securing approval of site content from members of the Partnership and ensuring that deliverables are met in a timely manner.
Manage service delivery of professional services, implementation and enhancement projects for the Partnership.
Maintain up to date records on Roundtable leadership, Partnership board members, leadership and members, vendors and consultants at all times; Prepare status reports both internally and externally.
Manage relationships with subcontractors.
Qualifcation
3 to 5 years of related work experience.
Excellent management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with limited management supervision.
Strong problem solving, communication and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of public affairs and online programs, most strategies and tactics.
Strong writing skills, including alert and Web content.
Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
Self starter and independent worker.
Duration:
One year commitment (terminating in December 2012) with potential to continue based on performance, program funding and/or program scope.

Salary:
$45,000-55,000 (dependent on contractor, or benefit based position)
