Alexandria-based trade association seeks experienced director to join public policy team, leading policy development and analysis on Medicare Part D and other issues impacting chain pharmacy. Draft regulatory comments, conduct legislative analysis, prepare advocacy materials, and represent industry in coalitions and before the executive branch.
Demonstrated knowledge of federal healthcare programs and prescription drug issues. Minimum five years relevant work experience, outstanding oral and written communication skills, ability to work well as part of a team and meet tight deadlines.
