Director of Positioning - North America

Experienced and visionary director to drive Novozymes' strategic communications in North America

With a new position as Director of Positioning in North America - leading our integrated PR and Public Affairs team in the US - we want to strengthen our impact in the region.

Your job will be to head our North American Positioning team - planning and executing integrated public relations and public affairs activities across the region as part of our global strategy.

You will report to our President of Novozymes North America as well as our Head of Corporate Positioning based in Denmark. You will also be a member of Novozymes' Global Positioning Management team and play a key role in shaping the overall strategic direction of our global stakeholder relations.

Here's what it takes

-      Relevant master's degree e.g. in political science or business administration

-      Strong track-record in managing and executing international PR, opinion building and political relations - either from industry leading corporations or as external advisor

-      +10 years experience in public affairs, government relations and strategic public relations, which includes experience within the D.C. arena

-      Network/insight from biotech, agriculture, energy or environmental industries

-      Excellent business understanding

-      Successful people management experience with high-level professionals

-      Strategic mindset and international outlook

-      Analytical and methodical approach

-      Result and action drive

-      Excellent oral and written communication skills

-      Team oriented with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships in a team oriented, consensus driven environment

-      Willingness and ability to travel 25-40% both domestically and internationally
