Alexandria-based trade association seeks experienced director to join government affairs team to direct all aspects of NACDS' political affairs. Devise political strategies on key initiatives and priorities. Manage and grow political fundraising and PAC activities/events. Develop effective fundraising campaigns. Ensure FEC compliance. Cultivate political intelligence - analyze races, interview candidates, make recommendations. Build/maintain relationships with Congressional and national political party leadership, candidates, campaign officials.
