National professional association seeks an individual to advance the public policy objectives of the Association by coordinating the activities of the political action committee, arranging opportunities for Association members to interact with their legislators, and pursuing lobbying activities that will lead to beneficial policy outcomes. This person will coordinate the operations/activities of the Association's political action efforts and serve as a lobbyist to support advocacy initiatives with Congress. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in political or social science, journalism, or related field and five or more years experience in a similar position.
