The Gas Processors Association (GPA), an international trade association serving the interests of its midstream energy industry members, has a position opening for Director, Legislative and Regulatory Affairs. Part of GPA's mission is to build a better industry through discussing, debating and influencing legislative and regulatory issues. This is a new position developed to help GPA take a proactive approach in identifying, communicating and advocating federal and state issues impacting GPA members and the U.S. midstream energy industry. Individual will report to the GPA Executive Director; have a thorough understanding of the midstream energy industry; provide regulatory agencies and government bodies with comprehensive and accurate industry data and information; explain and advocate GPA's position on pertinent issues; educate stakeholders on issues, including GPA members, media, regulators and other trade organizations. Previous related experience required.
