We are now searching a:
DIRECTOR LATIN AMERICA
You will be responsible for defining and developing a regional value proposition in line with the Forum's mission and strategy. You will manage the regional team for Latin America, and initiate and direct community-building activities to successfully deliver a value-added regional contribution. You will ensure that regional agendas, projects and activities are forward-looking, taking into account the latest developments in the global, regional and industry arenas.
You will lead and coordinate regional meetings and communities, councils and advisory groups, and develop a strong relationship with government, business and societal leaders in the region. You will develop and nurture regional expertise within the team and leverage in-house expertise in the development and implementation of regional activities.
You will secure the participation of regional CEOs and public figures in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting and other Forum events, and develop regionally meaningful knowledge-based projects.
You have an advanced university degree and at least 10 years of successful international experience in a management position, including people management, in a corporation or government. You have good knowledge of the region's political, business and cultural scene, with a strong network of contacts. You are comfortable communicating with senior leaders across the private and public sectors, and are considered a peer. You have excellent communication skills and a perfect command of written and spoken English, Spanish and, ideally, Portuguese.
This position will be based in New York.
