The ideal candidate has experience in state legislative tracking, legislative research, certification and licensing programs, and strong writing and proofing skills. Additional responsibilities include supporting state legislative committees, developing best practices and research support for state and federal advocacy efforts, reviewing and making recommendations on emerging public policy trends and supporting various member committees. This position reports directly to government affairs VP.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in political science or related field
* 3 to 5 years experience in government affairs, legislative tracking & research
* Excellent research, writing and proofing skills
