Community Associations
Institute, which represents the interests of residents and businesses that
support homeowners associations, condominiums and co-operatives, seeks a
Director, Government Affairs. The ideal candidate has experience in state
legislative tracking, grassroots programs, and strong writing and proofing
skills. Additional responsibilities include supporting state legislative
committees, developing best practices for state and federal advocacy efforts,
reviewing and making recommendations on legislative and grassroots programs and
supporting various internal committees. This position reports directly to the VP
of government affairs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in political science or related field
3 to 5 years experience in government affairs, legislative tracking, and grassroots programs
Excellent research, writing and proofing skills
Annual salary mid-forties to mid-fifties, depending on qualifications and experience; excellent benefits package including transportation subsidies.
