The director of federal advocacy will be responsible for managing the Alliance for Excellent Education's legislative and advocacy efforts. S/he will work closely with the other members of the federal advocacy department and the policy department along with other Alliance staff to advance the Alliance's policy agenda in Congress, with the Department of Education, the White House and relevant education and civil rights organizations.
