Director Community Benefit Programs Funded
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Northern California Community Benefit portfolio, including program design and assessment, strategy and planning, documenting and reporting. The activities, projects, and responsibilities of this position are directly related to supporting Kaiser Permanente's not-for-profit status and promoting Kaiser Permanente's social mission. You will provide oversight and function as a technical and informational liaison for all Community Benefit Program managers, as well as support senior leadership decision-making in setting Community Benefit priorities and program changes.

Director Community Benefit Programs Funded
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Northern California Community Benefit portfolio, including program design and assessment, strategy and planning, documenting and reporting. The activities, projects, and responsibilities of this position are directly related to supporting Kaiser Permanente's not-for-profit status and promoting Kaiser Permanente's social mission. Qualifications include:
- A bachelor's degree; a master's degree in public health, public administrations, health care administration, or other relevant field preferred
- At least three years of prior management experience of three or more individuals preferred
- At least seven years of experience in public health, philanthropy, community relations, and a community agency setting
- Experience in working with community-based health and social service agencies
- Experience and knowledge with community-based health status improvement projects, community needs assessments, and evaluation methods
- Experience in working with elected officials and community leaders preferred
- Knowledge of both private and public health care systems
- Negotiation, conflict resolution, leadership, critical thinking, influencing, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- The ability to build consensus on strategies and messages among peers and across different reporting structures
