DaVita, Inc. is seeking a Director of Communications/Public Relations. This newly-created position requires a confident communicator with seven to ten years of experience in corporate communications with at least one year in a leadership role.
The professional in this role will have extensive experience in external communications with an emphasis on state and local media relations, including in-depth knowledge of media operations such as newsroom responsibilities and editorial decision-making. The new Director will be a strategic thinker who can conceptualize and execute advanced, integrated, and clever publicity campaigns and have the confidence to partner with C-level executives on communications projects and business decision-making. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Communications, the Director will collaborate with the Communications team and others throughout the company, to develop and implement an overall communications strategy that will advance DaVita's reputation and growth goals in key states by increasing DaVita's media presence.

ABOUT DAVITA:
DaVita provides dialysis services for those diagnosed with chronic kidney failure, a condition also known as chronic kidney disease (CKD). DaVita operates over 1,400 outpatient dialysis facilities and acute units in over 700 hospitals. They are located in 43 states and the District of Columbia, serving approximately 110,000 patients.
