Edstrom's internal digital hub. This role will support Digital Advocacy across
Public Affairs, Social Innovation and Consumer.

lagging adopters and policymakers, an entrepreneur with a track record of
excellence in digital media, and a strategist who understands the powerful
balance between traditional and digital outlets of influence, while optimizing
for execution and tangible results.
Responsibilities:
• Research,
understand and anticipate shifts in industry, marketing & communications,
brief clients on potential business impact, and make strategic
recommendations.
• Manage key client relationships and reinforce the agencies
position as a trusted advisor.
• Have active understanding and awareness of
issues, marketing objectives, technology and products, in order to provide
strategic planning and counsel.
• Develop and present communication plans for
both existing clients and new business opportunities that clarify business
goals, situation analysis, challenges, solutions, measurement criteria and
fiscal planning.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree required,
preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Sociology, Anthropology or
related technical fields.
• Expertise in digital advocacy across public
affairs, social innovation and consumer industries.
• Minimum of 4 years
experience that includes mix of agency and in-house corporate experience.
•
At least 2 years managing a client relationship.
• Ideal candidate will have
a diverse and integrated communications background from multiple disciplines
(PR, advertising, Direct Marketing, CRM, Digital/Web Marketing) that will
include some mix of traditional and social media.
• Personal and professional
hands on experience with social media tools (Blogs, Microblogging, Wiki's,
Social Networks, RSS).
• Ability to work with clients of all stripes from
SMEs to global brands.
• Experience working on public affairs or advocacy
campaigns.
• Proven track record of creative digital influence and social
networking. Must have keen understanding of the changing face of influence
ability to toggle seamlessly between traditional and new influence paradigms
(depending on client situation). Experience identifying and engaging online
influencers as well as direct to consumer.
• Comfortable taking risks and
thrives in fast-moving, constantly shifting context. No fear of ambiguity.

Results-oriented track record with strong understanding of research, analytics
and measurement.
• At least 1-2 years experience managing individuals or a
team
