The Digital Grassroots Account Executive (AE) supports the Grassroots Group team and client teams through administration of the various technologies related to the client programs, implementation of the various public affairs and/or public relations tasks associated with the Scope of Work, and any general activity deemed necessary by the AE's manager(s).
Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of work experience
- Advocacy Platform/CMS proficiency (Convio, DIA, Salesforce, Advocacy Online, Drupal, Wordpress etc).
- Working with developers to create/modify webpages for client sites
- Excel proficiency
- Email platform proficiency (Vertical Response, Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor et al)
- Familiarity with HTML and social media
- Working knowledge of online and traditional grassroots programs
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Dedicated, energetic and have a positive attitude
Position Responsibilities:
- Client Services support during the business development and implementation cycle, as necessary
- Work with various account teams to use the Edelman Connector or Grassroots Multiplier® on behalf of Edelman clients
- Assist account teams in developing targeted influencer lists, stakeholder lists and other lists as needed
- Routine updates and maintenance to the database and/or websites to ensure consistency and accuracy of the data and content
- Create reports for the client team and the client to provide results and/or analysis
- Act as a point person to provide staff and/or clients answers to questions about the Connector and/or Multiplier® technologies (or other technologies as needed), their capabilities and/or proactively query the client team for new information or program developments related to the service implementation
- Conduct trainings sessions with staff on how to effectively use the Edelman Connector, Grassroots Multiplier® or other technologies as needed
- Coordinate with other database managers in various Edelman offices to further develop the tool and/or service
- Recommend improvements to existing systems
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: The account executive must have at least one year of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing.
