The Digital Communications and Advocacy Manager (manager) is responsible for coordinating and executing the online communications for a Fortune 500 client.  In this role, the manager will regularly communicate with the client to coordinate content and other development, timeline, approvals and distribution.   He or she also ensures client goals are being met by implementing plans for improvement and efficiency for our overall integrated, work products.

The ideal candidate should have: 6-8 years work experience in public affairs, strong written and oral communications skills, the ability to help the client persuasively communicate the strategic messaging on any given campaign, strong interpersonal skills to manage client relations, ability to manage multiple issues at any given time, as well as have a heightened attention to detail.  Copy editing experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities Will Include:
Provide strategic counsel on how to enhance capabilities, products and processes
Develop and managing an editorial calendar with multiple client contacts
Develop creative content for communications
Format content for distribution in a user-friendly communications system
Review material for accuracy, as well as basic copy editing
Coordinate multiple approvals as determined by client
Manage data entry and data management, including automated and manual data feeds from various vendors, as well as manual data entry processes
Coordinate strategic research to support advocacy efforts of client
Develop reports for client regarding activities, successes and best practices
