Position: Executive Director, Insurance Council of New Jersey (ICNJ), a state trade association of leading property and casualty insurers in New Jersey (www.icnj.org).

Duties: Work with Board of Directors and committees to formulate public policy and develop consensus on issues of concern to the insurance industry.  Chief spokesperson on industry issues; advocate before all branches of government.  Effective interaction and regular presence at NJ State Capitol, Department of Banking and Insurance, and other government entities as needed. Manage staff and administer annual budget.

Qualifications:  Management, administrative and budget experience; highly skilled in government relations/legislative advocacy and issues management.  Highly organized, creative, resourceful, able to set priorities, develop consensus among diverse group of member companies.  Skilled in media outreach, legislative testimony, written and oral communications.  Familiarity with property-casualty insurance industry preferred.
